  • Business information: business name, website, industry, and description submitted through the Get Started form or dashboard.
  • FAQ content: questions and answers you create or import into the Platform.
  • Contact details: phone number and email address provided during sign-up for communication purposes.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Chat interaction data: messages sent to chatbots deployed through the Platform, including questions asked by end-users of your bot.
  • Analytics data: aggregated usage statistics such as number of questions asked, FAQ match rates, and session counts.
  • Log data: server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, retained for security and debugging purposes.

2.3 Payment Information

We do not store payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant third-party processor. We receive only non-sensitive transaction metadata (e.g., subscription status, customer ID) from Stripe.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform and its features.
  • Process subscriptions and manage billing through Stripe.
  • Send transactional emails (welcome messages, renewal reminders, payment notifications).
  • Power AI-driven FAQ matching and chatbot responses for your deployed bots.
  • Generate analytics and usage reports visible in your dashboard.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate platform updates.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating the Platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, cloud infrastructure providers). These vendors are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Platform, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Agency Subscribers and End-User Data

Agency plan subscribers deploy chatbots to their own websites and collect chat interaction data from their end-users through the Platform. In this context, the Agency subscriber acts as the data controller for their end-users' data, and the Platform acts as a data processor on their behalf. Agency subscribers are responsible for:

  • Providing appropriate privacy notices to their end-users about chatbot data collection.
  • Obtaining any required consents from end-users under applicable data protection laws.
  • Ensuring their use of the Platform complies with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations. Chat interaction data (unanswered questions, session logs) is retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
